Every year many quilts are lost or passed on from one person to another. They are left behind after a concert in the park, stolen from nursing home residents, lost in shipping from a quilt show or simply forgotten in a attic. The quilts we make often outlive us by decades and even centuries. Their origins are easily forgotten. I would like to think something as contemporary as a QR code might provide a link to something as timeless as a quilt.
